There are many different definitions attached to mindfulness. I've tried to define it in a way I think can can be simple and relatable.
Mindfulness is a way of approaching the world! To be mindful is to be in the present moment whilst allowing everything else (thoughts, feelings, external events) to be welcome in the experience, judgement free!
Being mindful helps us to 'get out of our own way' as one of my favourite teachers, Jeff Warren, would say.
